Interstitial cystitis - Also known as painful bladder syndrome, interstitial cystitis is a chronic condition that causes pain and discomfort in the bladder and pelvic area. It may also cause frequent urination and a strong urge to urinate.
Overactive bladder - This condition occurs when the muscles in the bladder contract involuntarily, causing a sudden and urgent need to urinate. It may also cause frequent urination and urge incontinence.
Neurogenic bladder - A neurogenic bladder is a condition that results from damage to the nerves that control the bladder's function. It may cause urinary retention, incontinence, or difficulty emptying the bladder.
Bladder diverticulum - This condition occurs when a small pouch forms in the bladder's wall, causing difficulty emptying the bladder and increasing the risk of infections.
Bladder stones - Bladder stones are hard deposits that form in the bladder, often as a result of an underlying condition such as an enlarged prostate or bladder outlet obstruction. They may cause pain, difficulty urinating, and blood in the urine.
